Gemini is one of the coolest roller coasters at Cedar Point, and though it might not be the fastest or tallest, it is the smoothest of all the coasters at the park.  I don't think there is one point on the ride where there are any bumps or whiplash points.  Had it been the newest to the coaster lineup, this would be my favorite, but, well Millennium Force is a lot better.

Nevertheless, Gemini is a twin train racing wooden/steel coaster that was built in 1986 by Arrow Dynamics, one of the first coasters at the time to feature steel track with wooden support structure.  I love the theming and coloring of the coaster, only one of the many awesome points.  Next, from the station, which is rather large and wide, the trains drop quickly out in a 90° helix, and slide over a long straightaway before engaging the lift after another 90° turn.

The lift is super-smooth, one of the best I've ever been on, and the drop is even better.  At over 50°, it is one of the steepest drops at Cedar Point, second to Magnum, and third to Millennium Force.  After the first drop, the next two-thirds of the ride are just plain u-turns and steep drops.  Near the end, the train begins a snake-winding path through itself, and there are lots of negative-G bunny hops before the finale, a dueling 180° helix in which the trains, blue and red, pass within two feet of each other, though at a very steep bank.  The final hop into the station is incredible, though not stressful on your neck, and that completes the ride.  I love this ride, even if it's not the best, because it is simple yet still packs a strong punch.  If you ever get the opportunity to go to Cedar Point, this coaster is a plus!
