Previously known to many in Ohio as Geauga Lake and Six Flags Ohio, in 1999, a change occurred to
this park in Aurora, Ohio that would not only change the skyline but also the
country.
The second oldest amusement park in Ohio, including its
years prior to the face lift and name change, the now Six Flags park is one of
the 30 different Six Flags parks in the United States, and is joined by its
older relatives Six Flags Magic Mountain,
which recently debuted a prototype Arrow Dynamics
'4th dimension' coaster, X; Six Flags Darien Lake
in NY, which hosts one of the four Superman Ride of
Steel cookie cutter coasters; Six Flags over Texas,
which has the Texas Giant; Six Flags Great Adventure,
the home of the world's first floorless coaster, Medusa, and the world's first dueling steel coaster, Batman and Robin: The Chiller; and Six Flags Astroworld,
the home of the world's first penta-looping coaster, the Texas Tornado.
Six Flags has a reputation for debuting many prototype or
record-breaking coasters, and 'Worlds of Adventure' has been quick to catch up
to the other Six Flags parks. This page has a list of coasters in
currently in the park, as well as concepts that are still on the drawing
board. If you have any questions or suggestions, leave them at the e-mail
at the bottom of the page. Thanks, and I hope you like my pictures.
By the way, if you right click on the pictures and go to
'View Image,' you can see the image full size. If you don't have that
option, right-click and go to 'Save Image As' and save it to your hard disk
where you can open it from Paint or whatever.
On this database, I will outline all the information you
could possibly want to know about Six Flags WoA and
each of its roller coasters, though there will be plenty of space for
improvement. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, feel free to
contact me at my e-mail at the bottom of the page.
